A race to discover the beauties of the capital, this is the Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon. The 21.0975 km long route ran through the streets of the city centre, passing by the wonders of the capital such as the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, Piazza Navona and many other historical sites. A half marathon that at its first edition set a record for the number of participants in a half marathon in Italy, with no less than 17,124 runners at the starting gates.

Departure from the Circus Maximus and arrival at the Colosseum. This is the route of the Rome Half Marathon through the history and beauty of the Capital. Start at 8.30 a.m. from Via del Circo Massimo. Up to 5 waves of runners are expected, the last one at 9:10 a.m.

What a success for the first Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon
